Dove Valley Park at 47th and Rancho PalomaMaster PlanIt
is an exciting time at Dove Valley Park. As you can see when you pass the
site at 48th and Rancho Paloma, the contractor has mobilized on-site
and first began with tree salvage and grading. According
to the Parks Department, there are many steps to the construction process but in
a nutshell, we are looking at the end of the year for the completion of the park
site. Another contractor will be responsible for the playground / shade
structure. We anticipate the playground portion being completed after the
first of the year primarily because the contractor cannot begin work until the
first contractor has completed their entire portion of the project. Once completed, the
Park will have the shaded playground, a basketball court, grassy area, ramadas,
and a nature trail. Particular care is being given to preserve as much of the
natural beauty in the area as possible while still accommodating the new
features.
